Orie G. Williams

Orie G. Williams , 65, is retired and lives in Anchorage, Alaska the majority of the year and in Zihuatanejo, Mexico for most of the winter. He was elected to the board in March 2008. Williams serves on the boards for Doyon Development Corporation, Doyon Drilling, Inc., Doyon Properties, Inc., Doyon Services Corporations, and Doyon Tourism, Inc. He previously served on the board of directors from 1978 to 1984, holding the offices of vice president, chair and vice chair. He served as president and chief executive officer for the Doyon Family of Companies from 2002 to 2007. Williams has also been employed by the Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation, State of Alaska Department of Community and Regional Affairs, Tanana Chiefs Conference and Toghotthele Corporation. He has also been self-employed as a contractor. He graduated from Lathrop High School and attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Skadron College of Business in California.
