Miranda Wright

Miranda Wright , of Fairbanks, Alaska, has served on the Doyon board of directors since 1995. She has held the office of chair of Doyon, Limited and currently serves as treasurer. Wright serves on the finance and investment board committee and the Doyon Development Corporation board. She has also chaired the budget and audit and the finance and investment committees. Wright holds bachelor’s of arts and master’s of arts degrees from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree. She is employed by UAF as assistant professor in the department of Alaska Native and rural development. Wright is active on the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Native Education and the Community Advisory Board for Holland America/Westours. She has served on numerous boards and commissions primarily focused on economic development and education.
