Christopher Simon Christopher Simon , 45, lives in Fairbanks, Alaska. He serves on the budget and audit and lands and resources board committees and on the Doyon Development Corporation board. He has a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a master’s degree in education leadership from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, as well as an education leadership certificate from the University of Alaska Anchorage. He served as the superintendent of the Yukon-KoyukukSchool District from 2002 to 2008 and, prior to that, as principal in Hughes, Huslia and Nenana. He serves as a board member of K’oyitl’ots’ina, Ltd. (the village corporation for Alatna, Allakaket, Hughes and Huslia) and as a director of the Boys and Girls Home of Alaska, Inc. Back
